Why this audio reports?
Pictures, visual effects, video have this tendency of making us be lazy….unresponsive to information.
I am not talking here about the terrible effect TV has on our brains (aren’t you behind your computer screen right now to read or listen to me?), but rather the observation I made during 2007 Summer when coming back from my first bike trip throughout Europe.
This is indeed when I found out the amazing power of sounds while listening to Sandrine Mercier radio show “by side of the world” on France Inter or more recently, to Rafael Kraft reports from the show “Freewheel”.
This is why I offer you to chill out few minutes at home or with your mp3 player to listen to my travel reports.
This is aimed at using your imagination to allow you to escape in your dreams…being somehow part of this adventure.
Given the few on-board technical means, you’ll find three sections for each visited country:
- Road “Speak”: A daily and very brief description of the roads taken.
- Audio report : A 15 to 20 minute account for each country, relating a landmark event, an encounter, a landscape…
- Atmosphere take : audio atmospheres mentioned in the audio reports in order to let you get into this trip all over the world.
Travelonbike.com is about :
Traveling by bike to Discover peoples, looks, roads.
But it’s also telling a route that you can listen to rather than look at, a shared route that will blast out this one man experience.
